Perhaps one reason Oregon is among the loeswt is that there are more strip clubs per capita in Portland than any other city in the US. They can and do, take it ALL off. Stripping and lap dances are protected by the Oregon constitution and superior court case law as "Free Speech." Perhaps this is why they have proliferated here.

While I agree with your "scum all around" anemssesst, I'm not sure there's any particular reason to believe that this was done under directions from on high. The person who ordered the arrest was probably also outraged by the media storm, and they wouldn't need to hear it from above to figure out that an arrest would suit the government's purposes.
